Kimchi & Birdies 2026 – Golf, Korean Food & Good Company
Looking for a golf event in Singapore that combines a great round of golf, Korean food, drinks and a lively community atmosphere?
Friends Golf Singapore and My Golf Kaki (MGK) are coming together for Kimchi & Birdies, a special golf event taking place on Friday, 16 October 2026 at Orchid Country Club.
Bringing golfers together both on and off the course, Kimchi & Birdies is built around one simple idea: 18 holes, great food and even better company.
A Golf Day With a Korean Twist
Kimchi & Birdies is more than just another day on the golf course.
The event combines a full 18-hole golf experience with Korean-inspired food, refreshments, prizes and opportunities to meet fellow golfers from the Friends Golf and My Golf Kaki communities.
Whether you are joining with friends or looking to meet new people through golf, the event is designed to create a relaxed and social atmosphere throughout the day.
Enjoy Korean Food On and Off the Course
Golf is only part of the experience.
Participants can look forward to snacks on the course, including Korean favourites such as:
- Kimbap
- Fried dumplings
- Korean cup noodles
After the round, the event continues with a Korean-inspired dinner featuring dishes such as:
- Fried chicken
- Kimchi fried rice
- Korean pancakes
- Tteokbokki
- Japchae
It is a chance to finish the round, sit down together and enjoy the social side of golf.
Drinks, Prizes & Lucky Draw
Refreshments will also be available during the event, including beer, soju and other alcoholic beverages.
Participants can also look forward to prizes and a lucky draw, including golf-related prizes, premium golf goodie bags and other exciting rewards.
Even after the final putt drops, there will still be plenty to look forward to.

More Than Just a Round of Golf
At Friends Golf, we believe golf is about more than scores and swings.
It is also about the people you meet, the friendships you build and the experiences you share along the way.
Kimchi & Birdies brings that idea to the golf course by connecting Singapore's golf community through sport, Korean food and a shared day out at Orchid Country Club.
Same passion. New stories. More rounds, brighter days.
